Ruf said: “We are delighted to have made history by opening the first Merkur Casino in the UK. Guests were also treated to music from the Red Hot Chilli Pipers and singer Chris Ashton. Local dignitaries, business leaders and colleagues from the gaming industry gathered to see CEO Irina Ruf, Merkur UK general manager Sascha Blodau and COO Mark Schertle officially open the venue. The Scottish city of Aberdeen has become home to the UK’s first Merkur casino.
